About This Blog
Who I Am
Hi! I'm steff, a backend engineer focused on building reliable, practical systems that last.
My History
I started learning in high school, where I was introduced to C, Arduino, and web development.
Since then, I have stayed self-taught through documentation, small experiments, and consistent practice. Most of my growth came from building, breaking, and rebuilding real things.
Today, I am a backend engineer at Prex, focused on building dependable systems in fintech.
Why This Blog
This blog is where I document ideas that help me become a better engineer and, I hope, help others do the same.
The focus is practical: software architecture, software management, and backend decisions you can apply in real projects.
I care about fundamentals that stay useful as tools and trends change, plus the tradeoffs behind day-to-day engineering choices.
What I Write About
- Architecture and software management
- Backend engineering and software delivery
- Design patterns and algorithms
- Programming fundamentals and systems thinking
